SCORE! 93 Mountain House "Serves 2" Meals for $125!!
 

My local sports store had Mountain House 75% off. Then, they were labeled at the 75% off price, but with a regular price (white) sticker on many of them. So, I got about half of them at 75% off the already discounted price. The manager who put them on special said only 1 or 2 had been purchased in the last 3 months so he wanted to liquidate them and didn't care if he took a loss. The expiration date on most of these is 2015 - only a few have a 2013 expiration year.

Oh, and they had MH flameless heater packs (the 5 use kind) for half off or $2.49 a piece. I took the last 5 of course.

All together I got 93 meals and 5 heater packs for $125. :5_1_120:

Good to know. I've actually never tried one, but I heard they are the best tasting dehydrated meal brand. Either way, I can sell them for a quick profit. I think I am going to send a bunch to family members so that I worry just a little bit less about them...

IMO the dehydrated meals are somewhat less food-like than McDonals's, but of them, MH is probably best. Your prospective use sounds good as well. They are easy to fix, just a few minutes with hot water, and if not eaten for every meal, a useful emergency meal.

That price is great.
